We are now full swing into the Holidays as they say in the US but here in Trinidad and Tobago we say the Christmas Season. Christmas in Trinidad and Tobago is one of the happiest times of the year. Not just because of all the good food and drinks (yummy pastelle and ponche de creme) but because of the time we get to spend with our family.
Family is a big part of the tradition of Christmas for us. Going by family and taking a "lime" for the season is all that I can remember from my childhood. It's also what I looked forward to the most.
One of the traditions at my family was the baking on Christmas eve. We would wait up on the bread came out of the oven just to have it fresh with some butter and cheese or slice into that freshly baked ham. We all have those traditions that we love and I would like to extend a warm holiday greetings to all of our readers and our loyal customers.
